A Note From The Seller
"I keep a journal of the departures and arrivals of wildlife that live around the pond. One of my favorite visitors was a male, Red Wing Blackbird. Every Autumn he'd leave his Country Lane home and travel a thousand miles South and each Spring he'd fly back to Falmouth. I always recognized him because he'd knock on my windows with his beak thinking that the reflection in the glass was a rival. My little friend returned for eight summers. Now, generations of his offspring repeat his journey and nest near the pond on Country Lane.
The house's floorplan is custom, well thought out, and it provides great space for your guests. The kitchen is perfect for large‑scale entertaining with lots of space for food prep, as well as a huge peninsula for offering the most elaborate buffets.
I'll miss the first floor master bedroom. It's full of air and light, as well as direct access to a deck and the views beyond. With room enough for a sitting area, it's a perfect retreat.
The deck and patio are so serene and sheltered it's easy to doze off in a chair, but I try to stay awake long enough to enjoy the hummingbirds silently hovering just a few feet away.
During the winter, I love to sit beside the cozy gas fireplace with a coffee and gaze out at the meadow and pond. One morning, the trees were heavily frosted with snow and I saw Cardinals perched on just about every branch of the cherry tree. The red birds against the white snow was nature's perfect holiday card."
